Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of all Omega Digital products and services ("Services"). It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. The goal of this policy is to protect the integrity of our infrastructure, safeguard other customers, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
By using our Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Omega Digital reserves the right to take action against any use that violates this policy, up to and including immediate account termination.

Prohibited Uses
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Omega Digital infrastructure:
2.1 Illegal Content & Activities
- Hosting, distributing, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
- Storing or distributing content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights without authorization.
- Facilitating fraud, phishing, identity theft, or financial crimes.
- Storing or trafficking in stolen credentials, payment card data, or personally identifiable information obtained without consent.
2.2 Network Abuse
- Launching or facilitating denial-of-service (DoS or DDoS) attacks against any target.
- Port scanning, vulnerability scanning, or probing third-party systems without authorization.
- Intercepting or monitoring network traffic without authorization (man-in-the-middle attacks, packet sniffing).
- Operating open mail relays, botnet command-and-control nodes, or Tor exit nodes without prior written approval.
2.3 Spam & Messaging Abuse
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or text messages in violation of CAN-SPAM, CASL, or equivalent laws.
- Harvesting email addresses or personal data from third-party sources without consent.
- Operating services whose primary purpose is to distribute spam.
2.4 Malware & Security Threats
- Hosting, distributing, or executing malware, ransomware, spyware, or exploit kits.
- Conducting unauthorized penetration testing or security research against third-party systems.
- Mining cryptocurrency without the explicit consent of the resource owner.
2.5 Resource Abuse
- Consuming excessive shared resources in a way that degrades service for other customers ("noisy neighbor" behavior).
- Reselling or sub-allocating Services in violation of your subscription agreement.

Enforcement
Omega Digital may investigate potential AUP violations at our discretion. Upon discovering or receiving a credible report of a violation, we may take any of the following actions, immediately and without prior notice where necessary to prevent harm:
- Issue a warning and require immediate remediation;
- Rate-limit, throttle, or null-route specific traffic or IP addresses;
- Suspend affected Services pending investigation;
- Terminate the account and permanently delete data;
- Report the activity to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.
Suspended accounts receive no refunds for remaining prepaid subscription periods.

Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of content or activity hosted on Omega Digital infrastructure that violates this AUP, please report it to:

Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. For urgent security issues (active attacks, CSAM), include "URGENT" in the subject line.

Changes to This Policy
Omega Digital may update this AUP at any time. We will provide at least fourteen (14) days' notice of material changes via the Status Page or email. Continued use of Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
